Best thing about this strange case at The Fiction is that I get to eat at this restaurant pretty often. It’s amazing. I’m telling you, you don’t need to be a detective to get to this conclusion – although I am one. I love it here, it’s so cozy but also elegant, you know? It’s got kind of an artistic quality, I don’t know how they do it. Makes you feel like a bunch of sculptors and painters could be having dinner and drinks at the next table. I’ve tried brunch, lunch and dinner, really can’t decide which is my favorite – and you know, I’m not your usual “foodie,” isn’t this how they call it, nowadays? It’s just, ah… the food, my friend, the food. You should try it. Maybe we can have lunch there tomorrow, and I’ll tell you more about the case. What do you say?

Is this your first time here? Oh, you’ve already tried our brunch! Excellent. I promise you’ll love dinner, too. Our chef is a true magician, it’s chef Alex Tsiotinis, have you heard of him? So creative, awards and all. Well, to give you a hint, tonight you’ll be enjoying Mediterranean’s best, but prepared as if you were in a French brasserie. Everything on the menu is so fresh and delightful, so creative and yet comforting! No, Ma’am, I assure you there are other people that speak so highly of Lalane; after your dinner, I think you’ll be one of them… Well, I’ll be back with menus and the wine list.

God, it was amazing! It was just the four of us, and the menu was amazing, I can’t even begin to describe it, darling!
